Pastor Terry and Beverly Gainer
Terry Gainer has served as Senior Pastor of SFWC since July 2010, but he and his wife, Beverly, have been in ministry since 1986. They met in middle school and have been married for over 37 years. Goldsboro has been home to the Gainers for over 33 years, and they cherish the wonderful people they’ve had the honor to serve.
Terry currently works as a civilian Budget Analyst with the 916th Air Refueling Wing. In 2003, he retired as a Senior Master Sergeant having served his country for 24 years. During his career he received four meritorious service medals, a Joint Service Commendation Medal, three AF Commendation Medals, a Joint Service Achievement Medal, and an Air Force Achievement Medal.
Pastor Gainer is a 1995 Magna Cum Laude graduate of then Mount Olive College where he earned a BS in Business Management and was inducted into the Alpha Chi National Honor Scholarship Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Global University of the Assemblies of God.
